Affiliate membership of the College is open to those working in pathology who may wish to be linked with the activities of the College.
Benefits of affiliating to the College
- Receive the quarterly College Bulletin.
- Receive the monthly President's e-newsletter and other electronic communications.
- Access to the password-protected Members area of the College website (excluding the Online Handbook section).
- Discounted College conference fees.
- Use of College facilities for meetings (subject to availability and a separate charge).
- UK-based medically qualified pathologists, research academics, and scientists in career grade positions (grade B or C or AfC >=7) not actively involved in completing their training for the FRCPath will be eligible to participate in the College's Continuing Professional Development scheme.
The following will not be allowed:
- designatory letters (post nominals)
- voting rights within the RCPath.

The College reserves the right to refuse an application for reasons that the Council of the College in its absolute discretion thinks fit. Please note that persons who are eligible for another category of membership (Fellow, Diplomate, Associate) and medical or scientific trainees are not eligible for Affiliate membership.
